Modernisation Imperative

Bruce Charlton is Reader in Evolutionary Psychiatry at the University of Newcastle upon Tyne and Editor in Chief of the journal Medical Hypotheses. In 2000 he was a Visiting Distinguished Millennial Fellow at King's College London. Dr Charlton is the author of more than 100 research and theoretical papers in scientific, medical and other subjects; and the book Psychiatry and the Human Condition (2000) Peter Andras is a lecturer in Computing Science at the University of Newcastle upon Tyne. He has published in many fields including chaotic dynamical systems, artificial neural networks, and modelling of vision and cognition.
