Helen Kelley is a quilt maker, lecturer, author, and instructor based in Minneapolis, MN. Her monthly column, "Loose Threads," has appeared in Quilter's Newsletter Magazine since 1983. Kelley was the first president of the Minnesota Quilter's Guild and her quilt "Renaissance" was chosen as one of the 100 best American quilts of the twentieth century.
