Mindful Moment

Tim Page won worldwide acclaim for his photographs of the Vietnam War. Just eighteen when he first covered the conflict, he soon earned a reputation as a high-spirited and buccaneering photojournalist. He is a striking presence in Michael Herr's Dispatches, and is said to be the model for the photographer in the film Apocalypse Now. He was wounded several times during the war, once almost fatally. Page's work has received numerous awards and has been the subject of several books and films. His books include Tim Page's Nam, Sri Lanka, Ten Years After: Vietnam Today, Page after Page and Mid-Term Report.
