Meinhardt Raabe appeared in The Wizard of Oz as the Munchkin Coroner. Born on a farm in small-town Wisconsin, he paid his way through college by working at world's fair "midget villages" around the country during the Depression. After graduation, he was hired to be Little Oscar, the spokesman for the Oscar Mayer Company, and held that job for more than thirty years. During World War II, he earned his pilot's license and served as a pilot with the Civil Air Patrol, eventually flying every type of single-engine plane made at that time. He has also worked as an educator. Now retired, he lives in Penney Farms, Florida. Daniel Kinske, a lieutenant on active duty with the United States Navy, is an expert on the work of Al Hirschfeld, with a special interest in his illustrations of classic comedians, and a historian who specializes in oral interviews with centenarians. Born and raised in Benzonia, Michigan, he is currently stationed as chief engineer on board the mine-hunting vessel the USS Pelican, homeported out of the Navy's Mine Warfare Command in Ingleside, Texas. Mickey Rooney, icon of American film, began his career in the silent Not to Be Trusted in 1926, at the age of six.
