Jim Hardie served with the Marines in WW2. In college he majored in education, earning three degrees. He served two years on staff of The Navigators, held positions as a classroom teacher, a school district supervisor, a supervisor with the Office of the State Superintendent of Public Instruction in Washington State, and fifteen years as Coordinator, Instructional Television Services, at Washington State University.
