Long Year of Silence

Kathryn Adams Doty was born in New Ulm, Minnesota, daughter of Reverend Christian Hohn, pastor of that city's German Methodist church. In 1939, she left Minnesota for a career in the movies under the name of Kathryn Adams. After leaving acting, to marry and raise three children with Hugh Beaumont of "Leave It To Beaver" fame, Kathryn Doty taught school, earned a Master's Degree in Educational Psychology, became a licensed psychologist, and after retirement returned to her first love-writing. She returned to Minnesota in 1977, where she lives with her husband, Fred DotyDoty, Kathryn Adams is the author of 'Long Year of Silence', published 2004 under ISBN 9781889020136 and ISBN 1889020133.
