Vicki Goldberg is the author of The Power of Photography: How Photographs Changed Our Lives (Abbeville, 1991); her Margfaret Bourke-White: A Biography (Harper and Row, 1986; Addison-Wesley, 1987) received many honors and was named a Best Book of the Year by the American Library Association. Goldberg is the coauthor of American Photography: A Century in Images (Chronicle Books, 1999, accompanying publication to the PBS documentary of the same name) and editor of Photography in Print: Writings from 1816 to the Present (University of New Mexico Press, 1988).
