After a freak accident involving curiosity and a hot iron, 1 year old Robb Mommaerts's right hand gained the magical powers of drawing. In the years that followed, he was exposed to mass quantities of children's literature and comic books. This prompted him to earn a BFA in graphic design and illustration from the University of Wisconsin-Whitewater. His degree guided him into a career in the wacky world of graphic design. One of Robb's greatest interests lies in comic book illustration. Along with a friend, he published a black-and-white comic book.
