Arthur Vogelsang is the author of three previous books of poetry, A Planet (Holt, 1983), Twentieth Century Women (University of Georgia Press, 1988), and Cities and Towns (University of Massachusetts Press, 1996), which received the Juniper Prize. Since 1973 he has been co-editor of The American Poetry Review.
