Warren Bennis is Distinguished Professor of Business Administration at the University of Southern California and the Founding Chairman of its Leadership Institute. He also chairs the Advisory Board of the Kennedy School's Center for Public Leadership at Harvard University and is the Thomas S. Murphy Distinguished Research Fellow at the Harvard Business School. He is the author of articles and over two dozen books on leadership, change, and creative groups, including Geeks and Geezers: How Era, Values, and Defining Moments Shape Leaders, On Becoming a Leader, Leaders, and Organizing Genius. A former member of four U.S. Presidential Commissions, Bennis is a consultant to many business, political, and government leaders. He lives in Santa Monica, California. Joan Goldsmith has been an organizational consultant with Fortune 100 corporations, universities, government, and non-profit agencies specializing in leadership development, conflict resolution, and organizational change. Formerly on the faculty of Harvard University and UCLA, she is the co-founder of Cambridge College. She has published six books, one of which, The End of Management and the Rise of Organizational Democracy (co-authored with Kenneth Cloke), was awarded the Financial Times Deutschland Book Award 2002 as the best leadership book.
