Last Hill

In the annals of all the military services there are events that may or may not be fact. This story is about one of those events. It falls somewhere between the realm of truth, fiction, fact and folklore. Major Samuel Nathan Kidd commands his regiment into the field against an Apache myth called Red Hawk. Red Hawk's band leads the cavalry on a long and difficult campaign that covers an area the size of many states.
