Kenneth Reid received his B.S. degree in Computer and Electrical Engineering from Purdue University in 1988, and his MSEE degree from Rose-Hulman Institute of Technology in 1994. He began teaching for the Purdue School of Engineering and Technology at IUPUI in 1996 in the Electrical and Computer Engineering Technology Department, specializing in digital circuits, programming and electronics manufacturing. He expects to receive his Ph.D. in Engineering Education from Purdue University shortly after publication of this text. Ken is active in the American Society for Engineering Education (ASEE) and in the Institute of Electrical and Electronics Engineers (IEEE), serving as Chair of the IEEE-USA Precollege Education Committee from 2004-2006. Ken was the recipient of the ASEE Illinois/Indiana Sections Outstanding Teacher Award, an IEEE Third Millennium service award and numerous teaching awards from his school.Robert Dueck is the author of 'Lab Source for Reid/Dueck's Introduction to Digital Electronics', published 2007 under ISBN 9781418041045 and ISBN 1418041041.
