Miguel Arias was born and raised in San Jose de Gracia, Jalisco, Mexico, where he received a licentiate in philosophy and letters at the Instituto de Filosofia y Letras in San Juan de los Lagos, Jalisco, Mexico. He is currently an editor at Liturgy Training Publications and is pursuing a master's degree in pastoral studies at Catholic Theological Union in Chicago Mark R. Francis, CSV, the general superior of the Congregation of the Clerics of Saint Viator, worked in Bogota, Colombia, for three years. He holds a doctorate in sacred liturgy from the Pontifical Liturgical Institute of Sant' Anselmo in Rome and is a former professor of liturgy at Catholic Theological Union in Chicago Arturo J.
