If we were able to put our autobiographies next to another person, whose life experiences were similar, if not often identical, we might see the way Knobby Knees attempts to describe and define perceptions. Eve and Grace, grow up as twin sisters in an unfortunate family environment. They are daughters of mental illness and neglect, alcoholism and divorce. They grow into adults, carrying the perceptions of their world and of themselves. We are able to appreciate and understand the way their lives unfold and change as a result of this understanding.
