Kim King was a part of Georgia Tech football for more than 50 years, first as a fan, later a star quarterback, then an influential alumnus and longtime Tech radio analyst. Born and raised in Atlanta, a product of the city's public schools system, King was Tech's quarterback from 1965-67, including legendary coach Bobby Dodd's last season in '66. A member of the Georgia Tech and State of Georgia athletic Halls of Fame, King was named one of Tech's 50 greatest athletes of the 20th century. A highly successful real estate developer, King was married to the former Gail McLennan; they have three children: Angela, Beau and Abby. Jack Wilkinson is an award-winning sportswriter for the Atlanta Journal-Constitution. He has covered sports for more than 30 years, including many World Series and Final Fours, several Olympics and Super Bowls. He's written two previous books about Georgia Tech football: Dodd's Luck, the autobiography of the late coach Bobby Dodd, and Focused on the Top, an account of Tech's 1990 national championship season.
