SUMMARY
Ken Howard was born in Neasden, north London, in 1932 and studied at the Royal College of Art. In 1983 he was elected to the Royal Academy and has since divided his time between his studios in Cornwall and London, experimenting with painting the effects of light in oils and watercolours. A member of the Royal Academy, Royal Watercolour Society, Royal West of England Academy and the New English Art Club, Ken Howard has enjoyed considerable acclaim with numerous successful one-man shows Sally Bulgin gained a Bachelor of Arts degree in painting and art history at Reading University, a Master of Arts degree in art history, and was later awarded a PhD for her research thesis into British abstract painting and sculpture by the Courtauld Institute, London UniversityHoward, Ken is the author of 'Ken Howard a Personal View Inspired by Light' with ISBN 9780715312377 and ISBN 0715312375.
