In the late 1800s John Ernst Worrell Keely claimed to have discovered a source of unlimited energy. For over 30 years his company survived, but never produced a product. This biography (originally published in 1893) seeks to explain the Keely mystery. The author, Clara Bloomfield Moore, financed his work for many years. Opinions on Keely are still sharply divided over a century later - those who call him a free energy pioneer versus those who refer to the "Keely Motor Bubble" as a stock fraud.
