Chuck Petrie is executive editor of Ducks Unlimited magazine. An ardent waterfowler and fly-fisherman, Petrie's articles, essays, and stories have appeared in many outdoor and conservation periodicals. He recently edited Dabblers and Divers: A Duck Hunter's Book for Ducks Unlimited, and co-edited Winshooters Autumn and Just Dogs as the former editor at Willow Creek Press. He has twice received the Wisconsin Wildlife Federation's Conservation Communicator of the Year Award. Petrie is also a past recipient of the prestigious Gordon MacQuarrie Award, presented by the Wisconsin Academy of Sciences, Arts and Letters, for distinguished contributions in environmental communications.
