Andre Cirino, O.F.M., is a contemporary Franciscan itinerant preacher. Before becoming an "itinerant" he worked at the Little Portion Retreat House for the poor in the South Bronx and has had experience in parish ministry, Franciscan formation and high school education. He is coauthor of Teens Encounter Christ and edited a journal on the writings of Francis, In the Womb of the Cave. Since 1984 he has conducted pilgrimages to Italy, Prague and the California Missions for Franciscan Pilgrimage Programs. He and Josef Raischl, S.E.O., have jointly published an anthology, Franciscan Solitude. Andre and Laurent Gallant, O.F.M., have published The Geste of the Great King: Office of the Passion of St. Francis. Andre lectures at the Franciscan International Study Centre, Canterbury, England. Josef Raischl, S.F.O., a native of Germany, lives with his wife Bernadette and their three children in Dachau. Both linguist and musician, he completed studies in theology at the Catholic University of Eichstatt and at the Franciscan International Study Centre, Canterbury, England. He studied in Rome at the Capuchin Franciscan Institute.
