Journey in the Wilderness Becoming Fruitful in the Kingdom

Even though the Children of Israel were God's chosen people, 1 Corinthians 10 says that God was not well pleased with them. Deut. 30:6 proves that He intended from the very beginning to redeem men's hearts, and Israel's heart was far from Him. They had not been humbled, purged and tested in the Wilderness. Today God's purposes and ways have not changed. He will redeem a people who's hearts are fully His. It is in the Wilderness that He does this. Israel did not undetstand the purposes or ways of God, and therefore rebelled and became derelict (unfruitful) in the desert. Millions of believers are in this process and do not understand it. They are at risk of never entering into the Abundant Life that Jesus came to give them.
