Joan Makes History

Series of linked stories in which the character of Joan, something of an Australian Everywoman, appears and takes part in key moments of the 200 years of Australia's history since European settlement. First published in 1988, during the Australian Bicentennial. This reissue includes an introduction by academic and critic Don Anderson, first published in the 1993 reissue. This edition is published in uniform format with the reissue of the author's 'Bearded Ladies/Dreamhouse'.
