Rabbi Dayle A. Friedman, M.A.J.C.S., M.S.W., is a pioneer in the professionalization of geriatric chaplaincy, in spiritual work with the elderly, and in the Jewish healing movement. She served for twelve years as Director of Chaplaincy Services at Philadelphia Geriatric Center, where she developed the first clinical training program for rabbis in geriatric chaplaincy. She is currently the director of the Geriatric Chaplaincy Program and a spiritual director at the Reconstructionist Rabbinical College.
