One of today's foremost artists working in the Northwest, Jack Dollhausen is one of the early proponents of computerized art. Dollhausen has dedicated a lifetime to creating what he refers to as "machines," computerized sculptural assemblages that react to the environment or the presence of a viewer through the utilization of motion, light, and sound.From 1970 to the present, Dollhausen has created intriguing, often humorous sculptures that actively engage the viewer.
