Sharon Taberski teaches at the Manhattan New School in New York City and consults throughout the U.S. and Canada. She is a member of the development committee for the Primary Literacy Standards (more commonly known as the New Standards) by the National Center on Education and the Economy and the University of Pittsburgh.
