Edward B. Blanchard, PhD, received his doctoral degree in clinical psychology from Stanford University in 1969. After holding faculty positions at the University of Georgia, the University of Mississippi Medical Center, and the University of Tennessee Center for Health Sciences, Dr. Blanchard accepted a position at the University at Albany, State University of New York, in 1977 and has remained there ever since. He is currently director of the Center for Stress and Anxiety Disorders at the University at Albany.
