Ann E. Ebe is Assistant Professor of Literacy Education in the Department of Curriculum and Teaching in the Graduate School of Education at Hunter College in New York City. She has taught the primary grades, has worked as an administrator, a teacher educator and as a literacy and English language learning (ELL) consultant. Her work with teachers in the United States and abroad involves developing and implementing language arts curriculum to put literacy theory into practice.
