In Defense of the New Perspective on Paul: Essays and Reviews

Don Garlington hails from the state of Arkansas. Afterattending Harding University in Searcy, Arkansas, hetook the degrees of M.Div. and Th.M. at WestminsterTheological Seminary. From 1977-82, he was a lecturerin biblical studies at Trinity Ministerial Academy,Montville, New Jersey. Thereafter, he obtained thePh.D. from the University of Durham, completing athesis on ÒThe Obedience of Faith: A Pauline Phrase inHistorical Context,Ó under the supervision of James D.G. Dunn. From 1987-2002, he was professor of NewTestament at Toronto Baptist Seminary. From 2004-06 hewas adjunct professor of New Testament at TyndaleSeminary, Toronto.
