This study examines the impact of privatization on the restructuring process of the sugar industry in Poland up to 2005. It analyzes and evaluates the types and effects of restructuring activities introduced by foreign investors at sugar factories taken over in Poland (and at their raw material base), comparing these with the activities of the factories that remain in the hands of the state.
