SUMMARY
Russell Thornton was born in North Vancouver and has lived in Montreal, Wales and Greece. His poems have appeared in numerous Canadian literary magazines and anthologies and he is the winner of a number of poetry prizes including first prize in the League of Canadian Poets National Contest in 2000. His books include The Fifth Window, A Tunisian Notebook and The Accurate Earth. His interview with Patrick Lane appears in Where the Words Come From: Canadian Poets in Conversation (Nightwood, 2002).
