James Campbell Quick is internationally recognized for his influential and groundbreaking theory of preventive stress management. His more than 100 publications include refereed journal articles, books, invited book chapters, encyclopedia entries, and a clinical monograph. His recent research and scholarship focuses on occupational health psychology and executive health. He was founding editor of the American Psychological Association (APA) Journal of Occupational Health Psychology. His professional work as a senior U.S. Air Force reserve officer (colonel, retired) led to numerous awards and decorations, including The Legion of Merit. He is currently director of the doctoral program in business administration at the University of Texas at Arlington Lois E. Tetrick joined the Department of Psychology at the University of Houston in 1995. She is an associate editor of the Journal of Occupational Health Psychology and was an associate editor of the Journal of Applied Psychology. She is on the editorial boards of the Journal of Organizational Behavior and Advanced Topics in Organizational Behavior.
