Gramps Short Stories and Tall Tales, is the third children's book written by Lloyd Wright. It contains twenty-eight stories on various subjects. The stories were written for his family, little friends, and anyone else with a curious mind and a sense of humor. Most of the subject matter was derived from observing and listening to the students in the two kindergarten classes as he reads to them. He has incorporated good manners, love, friendship, laughter, sharing, safety, and imagination through out the book. Some of the stories were written to fit in with the units the children were studying such as dinosaurs. He is a volunteer that was fortunate enough to find two kindergarten classes that will share their time and affection with him.
