This book is a Bible study of the first twelve chapters of the Book of Joshua. It is an attempt to understand the Word of God in the context of the history of the Jewish people and to apply an understanding of the Word of God to the practice of the Christian life in the twenty-first century. The study is focused upon understanding portions of the character of God, love and wrath, and how they are consistent throughout human history. The Book of Joshua completes the redemption of Israel that was begun in the Book of Exodus. The two books taken together provide a continuum of history of the Jewish people.
