Geo the Geode

William G. Hosford is a storyteller by nature. He was born in Franklin, MA and now lives in Lisbon, IA. He and his wife, Winnie, have two grown daughters. Heather, the younger, lives in Massachusetts. The other, Daria, lives in Iowa with her husband, Kevin, and their son, Peter. Bill, as Mr. Hosford prefers to be called, has many interests upon which to draw for his stories. He writes with knowledge, passion and humor in a relaxed, conversational style. He is also an award-winning photographer and artist. A former middle school Science teacher, Mr. Hosford is now a Library-Media Specialist and has professional experience in libraries from first grade through junior college. He is currently a school media specialist in Cedar Rapids, IA.
