Dr. Tao Le, MD has led multiple medical education projects over the past 13 years. As a medical student, he was editor-in-chief of the University of California, San Francisco Synapse, a university newspaper with a weekly circulation of 9000. Subsequently, he authored First Aid for the Wards and First Aid for the Match and led the most recent revision of First Aid for the USMLE Step 2. At Yale, he was a regular guest lecturer on the USMLE review courses and an adviser to the Yale University School of Medicine curriculum committee. Dr. Le earned his medical degree from the University of California, San Francisco in 1996 and completed his residency training and board certification in internal medicine at Yale-New Haven Hospital. Dr. Le subsequently went on to co-found Medsn and served as its Chief Medical Officer. He is currently pursuing research in asthma education as a fellow in allergy and clinical immunology at the Johns Hopkins Asthma and Allergy Center. Dr. Vikas Bhushan, MD is a world-renowned author, publisher, entrepreneur, and board-certified diagnostic radiologist who resides in Los Angeles, California. Dr. Bhushan conceived and authored the original First Aid for the USMLE Step 1 in 1992, which, after 11 consecutive editions, has become the most popular medical review book in the world. Following this, he coauthored three additional First Aid books as well as developed the highly acclaimed 17-title Underground Clinical Vignettes series. He completed his training in diagnostic radiology at the University of California, Los Angeles. Dr. Bhushan has more than 13 years of entrepreneurial experience and started two successful software and publishing companies prior to cofounding Medsn. He has worked directly with dozens of medical school faculty, colleagues, and consultants and corresponded with thousands of medical students from around the world. Dr. Bhushan earned his bachelor's degree in biochemistry from the University of California, Berkeley, and his MD with thesis from the University of California, San Francisco. Rohit Chandwani, MD is currently completing his fourth year of medical school at Yale University School of Medicine. He was originally born in New Delhi, India, and came to the United States when he was 1 year old. After spending his childhood growing up in New York City, Rohit attended Harvard University, earning a BA in Economics in 2001. There he developed an interest in labor, urban, and health economics, writing his undergraduate thesis on the subject of urban sprawl. Thereafter, Rohit went on to medical school where he has continued his pursuit of basic science research, completing his thesis on HIV CD8 T cell epitope recognition and immunogenicity. More recently, he has cofounded a small medical consulting company still in its nascent stage. Rohit is currently in the process of applying to general surgery residency programs and hopes to pursue a career in academic surgery. Ali Kemal Ozturk, MD is currently a fourth-year medical student at the Yale University School of Medicine. He is originally from New Orleans, Louisiana, and went to college at Johns Hopkins University, where he studied Biology and graduated with a BA in 2001. He is currently taking a year off from medical school to work on the molecular genetics of intracranial aneurysms in Dr. Murat Gunel's laboratory at Yale.
