Jemiah Jefferson was born in 1972 in Denver, Colorado. She began writing novels, short stories, and comic books at an early age, and continues her work in small-press publications, on the Internet, and in DIY 'zine self-publishing. She graduated from Reed College in 1994, and now lives a glamorously unstable life making witty cocktail conversation, watching too many films, and listening to over-intellectual Britpop.
