Faceless

Genni Gunn is a writer, musician, and translator. She has published seven books: two novels-Tracing Iris and Thrice Upon a Time , two short story collections-Hungers and On the Road , a poetry collection-Mating in Captivity , and two translations from Italian of Dacia Maraini's poetry. As well, she has written an opera libretto, Alternate Visions , which is premiering in Montreal in April 2007. Her works have been finalists for the Commonwealth Novel Prize, the Gerald Lampert Poetry Award, the Journey Prize, the John Glassco Translation Award, and the Premio Internazionale Diego Valeri. Her previous collection of poetry, Mating in Captivity , has been translated into Italian (Accoppiarsi in Cattivita ) and her last novel, Tracing Iris , has been optioned for film.
