Benjamin J. Broome is a professor of communication at George Mason University in Farifax University. He has spent the last 15 years on a journey among the Greeks, beginning with a teaching job in Athens immediately after graduating school in 1980-81. He has returned to Greece many times to lead intercultural field studies, work with Greek organizations, attend seminars, and travel the mountains and villages of the Greek mainland and islands.
