Dr Peter Larkin, a veterinary surgeon, earned his degree at the Royal Veterinary College in London, in 1953, and was later awarded the degree of Doctor of Veterinary Medicine by the University of Berne. He acquired his first Bull Terrier while still in college and has remained faithful to the breed ever since. He was a contributing author of Encyclopedia of the Dog and International Encyclopedia of Dogs and was until recently the veterinary correspondent for Our Dogs magazine. Peter has judged dogs all over the world. He is a member of the Kennel Club, serving on its Scientific Committee, Chairman of the Bull Terrier Club and the Vice-President of Southern Counties (UK) Canine Association. Mike Stockman, MRCVS, became a veterinary surgeon in 1949 and has been actively involved with dogs all his life. He spent four years in the British Royal Army Veterinary Corps training war dogs before going into general veterinary practice. He has served as the President of the British Veterinary Association and as Chairman of the Crufts organizing subcommittee.
