Jill Duchess of Hamilton is a vice-president of Butterfly Conservation and a Fellow of the Linnean Society. She has won silver and silver-gilt medals for gardens at the Chelsea Flower Show Penny Hart, a former Fleet Street journalist, is a Fellow of the Linnean Society, a keen amateur painter and an enthusiastic gardener at her home in Surrey John Simmons, OBE, VMH was Curator of the Royal Botanic Gardens, Kew, for nearly twenty-three years. Currently he curates the Arboretum at Castle Howard in Yorkshire Don Berwick, photographer, lives at Forncett St Peter, Norfolk. Since taking early retirement in 1989, he has been able to concentrate on his long-standing passion for wildlife and conservation.
