Elementary Grades Assessment, Package 1 (Balanced Assessment for the Mathematics Curriculum)

This new series, funded in part by the National Science Foundation, provides a balanced program for assessing student's mathematical performance at various grade levels. It focuses on a wide range of skills such as computation, patterns, geometry, and statistics. Each package offers ten to twenty tasks that provide students the opportunity to display their knowledge and skills as described in the NCTM standards. For each task there is an overview for the teacher, several renderings of typical work, and rubrics to assist in evaluating each student's work.
