Russell Page(1906-1985) is considered one of the leading British landscape architect and garden designers of his time. He studied at the Slade School of Art in London and Paris. In 1935, he formed a partnership with Geoffrey Jellicoe, but it fell apart due to financial reasons. From 1945 until 1962, Russell lived and worked in France, but designed both private and public gardens, famously among them the gardens at Leeds castle and the grounds of PepsiCo's world headquarters in New York.
