Dr. Evelyn Laycock served for ten years as the Director of the Lay Ministry Center for the Southeastern Jurisdictional Administrative Council, Lake Junaluska, NC. Dr. Laycock is a graduate of Emory and Henry Universities. For thirty-five years, she was Professor of Religion at Hiwassee College, and holds the title of Professor Emeritus from that institution. She is also a graduate of Tennessee Wesleyan and holds both Master of Divinity and Doctor of Ministry degrees from Emory University. Dr. Laycock is married to William A. Laycock, a retired United Methodist minister and college professor.
