Because of a head wound Karl suffered when he was shot down he (or rather Jacob) is grounded by the Luftwaffe. Jacob is so convincing in his impersonation of Karl that he convinces Canaris to have him transferred to theAbwehras his adjutant. This gives Jacob access to Germany's military and government secrets which he passes on to Allied intelligence. The intriguing plots and twist will keep the pages turning.
