Joe was born in Providence, Rhode Island, and raised on the island of Bermuda. He was saved in 1977, in Riverside, California, while reading The Liberation of Planet Earth. Joe holds a Bachelor of Science degree in Mechanical Engineering from the University of Rhode Island.
