Dr. Sandra Helene Straub graduated from St. Joseph's College in 1992 with a bachelor's degree in Community Health. After graduation, she pursued a master's degree in Mental Health Counseling at Long Island University's C. W. Post Campus. She then started a private practice in counseling with a specialty in bereavement therapy. In 1997, Dr. Straub graduated from the University of Sarasota with a doctoral degree in Human Services Administration. Dr. Straub is a member of the Ladies Auxiliary of the Veterans of Foreign Wars, and of the Association of Death Education and Counseling, and is a volunteer for Hospice.
