Mr. Goldman is a professional violist. He grew up in New York City, attended the High School of Music and Art and then received his musical diplomas from Manhattan School of Music and Yale University. For the better part of the last twenty-five years he has lived in Puerto Rico, where he performs with the Puerto Rico Symphony, teaches using the Suzuki Method, writes poetry and an occasional article for The Strad. Besides working in New York and Puerto Rico, he spent four years in Europe performing with orchestras and chamber groups in Brussels, Florence and Rome.
