Dan van der Vat is the author of Pearl Harbor: The Day of Infamy - An Illustrated History, which was hailed as the most "accurate, colorful and authentic" account ever presented of the attack. His two definitive studies of World War II battles at sea - The Atlantic Campaign and The Pacific Campaign: The U.S.-Japanese Naval War, 1941-45 - are on the recommended reading list for officers in the United States Navy. His other books include The Riddle of the Titanic, The Grand Scuttle, The Good Nazi: The Life and Lies of Albert Speer and, most recently, Standard of Power: The Royal Navy in the Twentieth Century. John S. D. Eisenhower, the son of Dwight D. Eisenhower, is a veteran of both World War II and the Korean War. He has also served as American ambassador to Belgium and as a White House advisor. A distinguished historian, he is the author of The Bitter Woods (an account of the Battle of the Bulge), Allies: The Story of the Anglo-American Alliance in the Second World War and Yanks: The Epic Story of the American Army in World War I. His latest book is General Ike: A Personal Reminiscence. Peter Christopher is very experienced at capturing historic sites on film. He last collaborated with Dan van der Vat in 2001 on Pearl Harbor: The Day of Infamy - An Illustrated History.
