Ronald M. Rapee, Ph.D., is a Senior Lecturer in the School of Behavioural Sciences, Macquarie University, Sydney, Australia and is Co-Coordinator of the clinical training program. Prior to his current position, he was Assistant Director of the Phobia and Anxiety Disorders Clinic at SUNY-Albany. He has published more than 80 papers and book chapters and four books, mostly in the area of anxiety and anxiety disorders, and has presented numerous conference papers and workshops on stress and anxiety. Dr. Rapee is a member of the Generalized Anxiety Disorder subcommittee for the DSM-IV. His current research interests are primarily in the areas of social fears, basic models of anxiety, and children's anxiety. Dr. Rapee has received an Early Career Award from the Australian Psychological Society and is on a number of journal editorial boards.
