Steve Niles - Steve Niles began his career in comics by founding the publishing house Arcane Comix. Through Arcane, he published, edited, and adapted comics and anthologies for Eclipse Comics, and adapted to comics works by such luminaries as Clive Barker, Harlan Ellison, and Richard Matheson - all the while developing and drafting stories from his own prolific imagination. In 2002, Niles wrote a screenplay called 30 Days of Night, which he developed into a comic-book miniseries with artist Ben Templesmith. 30 Days of Night quickly jumped from the comics underground to become one of the most acclaimed and commercially successful comic titles of the year. 30 Days of Night is now in development as a major motion picture, with Spider-Man's Sam Raimi directing. Niles continues to write comics, novels, and screenplays from his home in Los Angeles, where he lives with his wife, Nikki, and their three black cats. Ben Templesmith - Contrary to popular mythology on the comic-book convention circuit, Ben Templesmith was not raised by dingoes and he doesn't drink that much tequila. There is a lot about Ben that we don't know, and only a few things that we do: Ben was born in Perth, Australia in 1978. He earned a B.A. in graphic design, majored in illustration, and has made quite the reputation for himself as the go-to-guy for dark, spooky illustrations in various industries, including comics, movies, books, and games. He likes sumo wrestling and cats, and he employs phrases such as "arsing about" to describe what he does with his time. If you can't find him in Australia or in San Diego, California, it's highly likely he's on a plane somewhere in the sky between those locales.Niles, Steve is the author of 'Criminal Macabre', published 2004 under ISBN 9781569719350 and ISBN 1569719357.
