Dr. Andrew Schiff, CPA is a Professor of Accounting in the College of Business and Economics at Towson University. He received his Ph.D. from Rutgers University, and was previously an Associate Professor of Accounting at the University of Baltimore. He also worked for more than a decade in public accounting and as a financial executive, holding a variety of positions including internal audit manager, assistant controller and controller in organizations ranging in size from $6 million to over $600 million per year. Dr. Schiff has published in numerous academic and professional journals including Behavioral Research in Accounting, the Review of Business Information Systems, the Journal of Applied Business Research, Issues in Accounting Education and various state C.P.A. society journals.
